Anyone familiar with these implants that were placed in Columbia?
I have a new patient who had 2 implants installed in #19, 20 sites [mandibular left first molar and second premolar; 36, 35] in Columbia in South America about 8 months ago. I have not been able to identify these implants. Can anybody help me with the identification?

Could be Nobel active? Can you unscrew it and look at the internal connection.?

Perhaps they are Alpha Bio but there is no internal taper therefore active is out. I like the site whatimplantisthat.com.

Possible MIS Seven, unscrew and see the connection, internal hex compatible with Zimmer, those are used a lot in Colombia.

Did you try to contact the dental fascility that placed the implants. If the patient resists this don't take on the case. There are many implant systems that look much the same, but are not parts compatable. A slight misfit can result in a big problem. At the very least remove a healing abutment and try the fit to the suspect implant analogs. Your local lab may be able to loan you analogs to check the fit. Even if the healing abutment fits the analog the actual restoration abutment for that analog may not fit the implant that is in the jaw. You may have to try the fit of more than one abutment into these implants. Do not imply to your patient that you can handle this case with no problems.
