Bone Binders for bone augmentation?
Do you know of any bone binders used in oral bone augmentation procedures that would not interfere with osteogenesis, resorb parallel with bone graft material and be biologically inert? If it exists it should eliminate the need for membranes. It could be I overslept an important development.

Calcium Sulfate has been used for a long time as a bone graft binder (research over at Pubmed), and can be used (depending on the application) without a membrane. Check out Dentogen or Bond Apatite.
