Implants placed in Syria about 5 years ago: what system?
Does anyone recognize these implants? My patient says they were placed in Syria about 5-years ago. I can unscrew the abutment screws with a 3i torque wrench but not torque wrenches for Nobel Biocare or Zimmer. I need to restore the implants.

Are these implants failing? There does not appear to be much bone around them on the film.

No, one of them had lost some bone but I grafted around it - the radiograph has some burnout and looks darker, but the bone is there. These implants were never restored, I checked with 3i - they are not 3i either. These were placed in Syria about 5 years ago - they could be from Israel or one of the European countries.

Almost certain it is Anthogyr Axiom regular , or could be some Korean clone, Success and keep us informed how it went :).

placing bone graft around dental implants does not turn into bone by some miracles. it is evident there is no bone and those exposed threads will accumulate plaque and bio-film and it will gradually becomes worse. restoring those implants as is in my opinion is malpractice.

Both of the implants have significant bone loss and may want to consider explanting them and placing better implants surrounded by bone.

Both implants have hopeless bone loss, it would be interesting to see the whole arch but in complete agreement to the comments before please extract and plan case without these.

I will post another radiograph later to assure everyone that there isn't much bone loss around those implants. This radiograph is not very clear - it does look like there is more bone loss than there actually is. I think Valentin is right, it seems to be Anthogyr Axium. I will post again after I have restored them.
Thanks everyone.
